Featured Beer: Weyerbacher Lima

The newest in the Weyerbacher Brewer’s Select Series, Lima American-Style India Black Ale takes a traditional IPA style and adds dark malts to enhance color and flavor. This well-crafted brew pours an opaque, nearly black color typically reserved for porters and stouts. Very little head. Aroma yields a bouquet of pine, pineapple, and citrus. Roasty, piney, bitter hop flavor with notes of grapefruit. Very little afterbite, extremely refreshing for a beer this dark. Complexity of flavors is enhanced as beer temperature rises. Effervescent without overkill. 6.3% ABV.
